A community of businesses gives strength and opportunity

small businesses

In a time of economic uncertainty, BBX provides an alternative way to trade, connect, network, support and be supported by other local small businesses.

We open up trade locally, nationally, even globally, and can help small businesses turn spare time, staff, equipment and more into high value marketing, out-sourcing or even leisure activities!

BBX South West is not just growing more, we’re giving back more too! Social responsibility is always an important part of what we do, and we’re glad to have added the YMCA Exeter to our list of supported charities. Hence our attending their black-tie do on Friday 12th Oct as part of our support.

We’ve also entered the Small Business of the Year category for the Western Morning News Awards and will keep you posted. ( They will be held on November the 22nd and you can buy tickets from their website.

Of course we’re still bringing great businesses on board to add to the diverse value BBX offers. Our latest companions are: Clair Perry, a virtual assistant, Jeremy Mitchell specialising in Office Management, Cornwall Channel offering video services for businesses, My Fair Lady Beauty Salon, Spencer Design Studio for graphics and web, Innoscent Cleaning to help with home or office, The Cornwall Holiday Co, HPS Signs for standard and vehicle signage, Explore by Bike take you out into the fresh air, Essential Executive Secretarial Services, and Foulds CRM with their bespoke customer relationship software.

Trish Mayer is joining us as an Account manager, to help us deliver best value to every business. As if all of that was not enough, we’ve also reached across to Cornwall and are developing our community there, doubling it’s size in our first two months thanks to Cornwall Business Partnerships who work with us.
