Growth Support Programme

Are you an independently owned microbusiness or sole trader?

Are you looking for new ways to make more money and find new customers?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, the Growth Support Programme will help.

The support on offer from the programme, which is completely free to businesses in Devon and is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), includes the following:

1. An initial 3 hour face to face meeting with one of the experienced delivery partner business advisers, resulting in a realistic growth plan for your business and areas identified where additional support will benefit.

2. After this initial meeting, you will be offered the opportunity to commit to a further 9 hours of free advice, which includes 3 hours of digital support, which aims to increase growth and business efficiency through digital means.

Other advice also includes:

• Finance
• Human Resources
• Innovation
• Marketing
• Business Planning

Want to know what others think?
Overall, the sessions have also helped me think less emotively about the business I’ve nurtured thus far (which is a fairly common fault with start up businesses I think) and be more objective, and hard headed, about it going forward. Utilising the growth programme is, as they say, a no-brainer! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.Ruth’s Real Food

The HR Dept Exeter

As your HR Dept, we provide your business with everything a large corporate would expect from its own in-house human resource team. The only difference is that you don’t have to pay to keep us in-house.

From providing a single employee contract, to taking on all your human resources problems, we can provide the level of HR support that your business needs. We don’t sell solutions, but design support to suit your individual company. Our sensible, down-to-earth approach means we will work with you to find the best, and most cost effective, HR support for your business.

Our services include:

• Advice line backed by tribunal insurance
• Recruitment
• Contracts of employment and staff handbooks
• Absence Management
• Performance Management
• Disciplinary and grievance hearings
• Dismissals
• Redundancy projects and outplacement
• Training and development
• Payroll

Why spend hours wrestling with complex employment issues when the answer is just a phone call away? You’ll be surprised at how little it costs and, if you end up on the wrong side of a tribunal, can you really afford the alternative?
