With a lifetimes passion for all things aeronautical, founder and Chief Pilot Jeremy Wilkinson has a background career in technology & business, and a growing demand for Drone services, He founded Dragonfly Drones in 2017, with a mission to provide affordable aerial drone services to customers based in the South West UK.

He is a CAA qualified SUAS Drone Pilot, and he also has over 25+ years experience in designing, building, & flying & operating small unmanned aircraft. He also trained & qualified as a full-size BGA Glider Pilot at the Devon & Somerset Gliding Club back in 1980.

James is an exceptionally gifted natural pilot with over 15 years rotary & fixed wing UAS experience.

His core expertise & role is Drone technology, flight observation, & Dragonfly Drones strategic management. James is currently undertaking his CAA Drone commercial pilot accreditation which will then enable him to assume Dragonfly Drones 1st Drone Pilot flight status.

Sarah’s role within Dragonfly’s team is harnessing her expertise in sales & business development, social media, and all things media wise, to give Dragonfly the competitive edge in the growing Drone Industry.

They operate using the latest DJI, 7kg class quadcopter aircraft, coupled with Apple technology to enable a cost-effective solution to the business requirement to get above, investigate, capture & report back any building or land feature that needs to be investigated without the time, cost, and safety implications of using traditional techniques to elevate the person to investigate at height above ground level.

They can fly on each mission for up to 15 minutes + safety reserve, using quiet electric powered drones that can operate safely without causing noise or pollution concerns to the environment they are being operated in.

Before they decide to operate they carry out a full flight & site risk assessment to ensure that the flight(s) can be safely achieved within the CAA operating rules & regulations contained in their permit for commercial operations. Please be aware that they cannot fly in rain, extreme cold, high winds or (currently) after daylight hours have ended. The Exmouth Chamber of Commerce has been active in Exmouth since 1896. Today we are the leading representative of trade and commerce in the town.

As the voice of Exmouth business we’re consulted by Government, Local Government and other Community organisations over important decisions affecting the development of Exmouth.

Our mission is to make Exmouth a thriving business-friendly town. We do this through initiatives such as the prestigious Exmouth Chamber Business Awards, weekly Breakfast Club gatherings and regular networking and social events.
