BCR Associates Ltd are recruiting for a Marketing Assistant. They are currently looking for an enthusiastic and pro-active Marketing Assistant to cover maternity leave. The role will be full-time starting on or around 19th March 2018.

START DATE: Around 19th March 2018 (10 months Maternity cover initially)
SALARY: £20,000 – £22,000 per annum DOE
As the Marketing Assistant you will have a key role in assisting with implementation of the
marketing strategies of the business both online and offline. This is a role which should appeal to
a marketing assistant who wants to work in a role which offers them the opportunity to work on
all aspects of marketing from creative, printed collateral, events, internal comms and targeted
client facing campaigns in a busy environment. The role is mainly split between providing
marketing support to the head office sales team and to existing franchise owners and introducers
in order to increase market penetration and increase brand awareness in the B2B cost and risk
management market space. A large proportion of the marketing assistant duties focus on events
management and printed marketing collateral production so an understanding of how a brand
effectively communicates to a B2B audience across these mediums is preferred.
1. Supporting the marketing manager in implementing marketing campaigns to successfully
reach and engage with our client base across the network which includes all clients,
franchise owners, introducers and prospects
2. Creating marketing collateral (print and digital pdf) to a specific brief and to a deadline
using in-house DTP packages (Adobe InDesign)
3. Creating and sending out regular internal email marketing campaigns using the in-house
email marketing system (Click Dimensions and eCampaigns)
4. Organising and participating in exhibitions and seminars; liaising with our suppliers and
partners and managing attendees through Eventbrite
5. Updating internal intranet portal and refreshing pages with up-to date content using
Joomla, our in-house content management system
6. Organising and filing marketing collateral in a user-friendly manner for internal
stakeholders using SharePoint
7. Assisting with market and competitor research as required
8. Liaising with relevant suppliers such as printers, photographers, designers etc. as required
9. Assisting with budgetary management; administration of invoices and purchase orders
and keeping the marketing budget up to date
10. Potential to develop content writing skills and contribute to digital marketing strategy
including Social Media marketing in due course
